26, 27 & 28 Saturday & Sunday & Monday CREEK WALK - Morong Deep. A classic Kanangra trip. Although this trip can be done in 2 days, we'll be setting a leisurely pace this long weekend. If the weather's good, then camping under the stars by the river is a must, but minimal shelter will be required just in case. There's no abseilign, just a couple of climb downs for those not willing to take the plunge. Wetsuits are not required as the river is usually quite warm by this time of year. A lilo is not essential but makes easy work of the otherwise extended swims. Everyone welcome that can swim and survive the walk out Megalith Ridge (600m height gain). Grade: SRW600. Maps Shooters Hill, Gurnang, Yerranderie & Kanangra (walk out only). An adventure not to be missed!
