| 25 & 26 | Saturday & Sunday | CANYONING – Newnes Plateau car camp probably on Sunnyside Ridge - Saturday Banks - Grade 4 - a long day but well worth it, Banks is very narrow and "slotty", there are 5 abseils and then we negotiate up Bungleboori Creek to the exit point (wetsuit needed). On Sunday we will explore Zorro Canyon which is ungraded. It's a short half day with a dead easy walk in and out, we will take some time to explore some creek systems to the side of Zorro to see if there are any canyons in that area. |

| 24 & 25 | Sunday | CANYONING - Saturday Tiger Snake – grade 3. This is a dry canyon with a very tricky start on the first abseil and the last abseil is into a deep black hole. The end of the canyon finishes in a huge chasm (one of my favourites). Sunday Deep Pass & surrounds. We will explore the surrounding area of Deep Pass and finish up going through the canyon. You will get wet feet in the canyon (or a complete dunking if you slip). A nice way to finish off the season. Co-leader required both days. |

| Jan 2012 | 6 & 7 | Friday & Saturday | OVERNIGHT WALK: Come along for a truly scenic overnight walk from Otford to Bundeena. The walk passes many beaches where we can swim to cool off, we'll see some interesting rock shelf formations, Wattamolla dam, magnificent cliff views and much more. On Saturday night we'll be lulled to sleep by the sound of the ocean. On Saturday the walk will be shorter than Sunday to allow for train travel down to the start of the walk, Sunday will be slightly longer and will finish at Bundeena for a rewarding cool drink. Possibility of some kiosks on the way to grab a cool drink or ice cream. Suitable for beginners. Grade: ME100. |
