Trip to Hornsby to visit the newly oppened Hornsby Park. 60 hectares around a huge old quarry with a fascinating story. After spending time to investigate we will continue on the Blue Gum circuit walk including the historic Depression steps. Grade 3. If time permits we may visit Lisgar gardens. Medium difficulty. Boars Head is a classic Blue Mountains abseil trip with an exciting crevice to negotiate. Exit is via Devils Hole from which we will go down Whores Bed Canyon then back up Devils Hole for a second time. Organiser Tim Gippel.
